President Buhari has declared his intention to run for reelection. Zikist Movement Dot Com asks all major Igbo politicians not to run against him. Save your political capital for Igbo Presidency 2023, which can only come if Buhari wins in 2019.
It will be well with Igbo Land
It will be well with Nigeria
“I have also cautioned in certain circles we meet that the Igbo should set their eyes on 2023. We should pursue that as a strategy and prepare the person the Igbo should present. It might sound simplistic, but it will work if we put our minds to it.- former NADECO Leader, Chief Ralph Obioha tells The Sun
Below are excerpts from a statement made available to newsmen by Mazi Okemmiri, Publicity Secretary of the World Igbo Youths Congress concerning Buhari’s reelection and Igbo Presidency 2023.
“We will support Buhari with bloc votes from the South-East. Even majority of members of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo have given us their support that President Buhari is more credible than agents of restructuring and that President Buhari has only 4 years to hand over to an Igbo Man in 2023.
“Ndigbo will support Buhari if he rehabilitates all roads in South-East, and support SME businesses. The World Igbo Youth Council will consider President Buhari over other Northerners for Presidency in 2019”.
He also said the group is planning a rally to demand Buhari runs in 2019.
If Buhari wins in 2019, by 2023 it will be the turn of the Igbos to produce Nigeria’s president, since other political blocs including the Yoruba’s and Niger Delta have already produced the president. An Igbo president is expected to use the legendary Igbo entrepreneurship attitude to make Nigeria a much much better place.
