In a récent interview Witherspoon Punch, the firesptting Governo of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose blasted ex President Olusegun Obasanjo over what hé ses as thé latéral fréquent Visits to President Buvard.
Fayose sais, ‘Obasanjo can’t be celebrated as a saint in Nigeria. When he talks, I just shake my head. Sometimes, when he goes to the (Presidential) Villa, I wonder if he has shame at all.
‘ When he was (the president), Buhari was not visiting him regularly. Obasanjo is behaving like somebody who wants to cover (up) something at all cost.
‘I want a former president that will know this nation does not belong to one man. Most of the problems in this country were caused by Obasanjo.
‘The impeachment of a governor by four lawmakers was done during Obasanjo’s tenure as a president. Tell me where the moral is. We should not deceive ourselves.
‘The fact that he is supporting the government of the day tactically is to protect himself. Sometimes, I ask if he is looking for a political appointment.
‘Have you seen Ernest Shonekan and other former presidents visit Buhari like he does? He is becoming a laughing stock.
‘That is the way I see it,’ he concluded.
Ex-président Obasanjo is known for his very engaging political style, like when people used to complain that his foreign visits to promote Nigéria were gestion too much.
What do you think was Fayose’s real motive in making those statements.
Anyone that betrays Tinubu is bringing curses upon himself — Fayose
I am proud of Gov. Ayo Fayose and the people of Ekiti state for signing into law legislation which bans grazing rights for the Fulani herdsmen in the state and which prevents them from carrying firearms.
By this bold and courageous act Fayose and the Ekiiti State House of Assembly have saved many lives.
Every governor in the south and the Middle Belt should find the courage to emulate them and do the same. -FFK
We call on the Federal Government, and the National Assembly to stop politicizing cattle business in Nigeria! Give the herdsmen financial grants to buy land for ranches, From Willing Sellers!
Fayose is a courageous leader. Fani Kayode too. Buhari should listen to these people on this issue of grazing because the South is with them.
Government cannot tell us that the answer to the violence caused by free grazing is to sieze Southern ethnic/ancestral lands and reserve them for a profession dominated by one ethnic group.
Mba nu! It will never work! For wetin na!? Continue reading “Buhari, Listen To Fayose On Grazing”
Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose has advanced the course of peace in this country by his steps to introduce cattle ranching in Ekiti State. It was announced recently that the Ekiti State Government will introduce cattle ranching in Ekiti, in response to the unending killings of citizens of the state in crises over cattle grazing.
The issue of cattle grazing is one that has led many to their untimely deaths, and yet the relevant authorities are still being slow to do what is needed to be done: that is to financially empower the herdsmen to buy land, fence it and start their own cattle ranch.

Hi folks. We came across a comment (look below) by Nairalander kgr8mike about Governor Ayo Fayose’s politics. The comment was made on a thread about Governor Fayose’s meeting with the Ooni of Ife, on Nairaland, Africa’s biggest online forum.
kgr8mike said the following to the Ekiti state politician that cannot easily be ignored, (whether you like or hate him):
“Dear Gov Fayose,
“Please you seem to be the only opposition that this government cares about what he says. Kindly continue even if you have to get it wrong somewhere. We don’t mind.
“You are the voice of the voiceless in high places. Kindly continue to puncture this government. Continue reading “What Nairalander Told Governor Fayose. Do You Agree?”
The EFCC has told us of recent that Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State has an account in Zenith bank with N300m which it is investigating. Governor Fayose, speaking through his spokesmen, Lere Olayinka, has just come out to confirm that the EFCC’s allegation about a N300m in his account is true.
But he also says that the money was deposited in the account before (and not after) he became Ekiti State Governor. See what he said about the said money in the account and his plans to spend half a billion each year helping the less privileged.
