The New York Times, Mexico’s Weapon Against Trump

New York Times has just endorced Hillary Clinton for President of the United States, and I will say there is no surprise in this. In case we have forgotten, the biggest shareholder of the NYT is Calors Slim, the richest man in Mexico.

There is no way the Times would not have endorced Clinton after Donald Trump’s promise to build a yuge wall between the US and Mexico if elected president. As it stands, the biggest weapon Mexico has in its fight against Donald Trump is the New York Times.

The truth is that the chief stewards of the New York Times, the Sulzberger family, cannot afford to antagonise its biggest backer, Calors Slim, who even though he is the biggest shareholder, has left them as publishers of the paper. The Sulzberger Clan own most of the voting shares while Slim owns most of the ordinary shares.

Donald Trump’s Tough Times Continue…

With The Donald, it seems each day brings a new barrage of attacks from those determined not to give him a fighting chance.

Donald Trump depends on his pronouncements to maintain his appeal, but the tactics being used by his enemies is to pounce on any pronouncement he makes and find something – anything in the statements to attack him with.

Even Mighty Tony Blair Once Got Nervous

How Hillary Clinton Was Nominated As Democratic Party Candidate

The article linked to below gives a concise report of the nomination of Hillary Clinton as the first female presidential flag-bearer for the US Democratic Party.

The Democrats have been known to be first in so many things political in the United States. For instance, they gave the US its first Catholic president (John F. Kennedy) and its first Black president (Barak Obama). Franklin Delano Roosevelt (Democrat) became the only US president to serve for four terms.

But with Hurricane Trump blowing from the right of US politics, will the Democrats be able to convince America to make Hillary Clinton the first female presidet of the United States?

Hillary’s husband Bill Clinton, America’s first female Secretary of State, Madeleine Allbright and a host of other Democratic heavyweights seem to think so.

Do You Agree With Democratic Heavyweight Michael Moore That Hillary Clinton Will Lose In November?

In the article I linked to below, Democratic Party activist who was George Bush’s biggest headache when he faced John Kerry in 2004, says that this year, Donald Trump is going to defeat the candidate of his party Hillary Clinton in November’s US presidential elections.

Michael Moore lists 5 reasons why he has come to that conclusion. Read the post and then come back and tell us in the comments if you agree with him, and if not why you disagree.
